When Exactly Was The Last Supper?

Ah-when exactly was the "Last Supper?"  What if the "Last Supper" happened on a different date than the one we celebrate?  Does that really make a difference to you?  What is it that you are really celebrating the day or the event that took place?  Well, apparently there are some contradictions or interpretations of the Bible about the exact time the "Last Supper" took place. I just found and article on Yahoo!News that claims that this contradiction may be coming to an end.

Apparently,  a  scientist at the University of Cambridge, professor Colin Humphreys, believes it is due to a calendar mix-up.  He beliefs that his findings will now strengthen the case and finally introduce a fixed date for Easter.  Apparently, Christians have long celebrated Jesus Christ's Last Supper on Maundy Thursday but supposedly new research released Monday claims to show that it actually took place on the Wednesday before the crucifixion.

According to the article, "Humphreys uses a combination of biblical, historical and astronomical research to try to pinpoint the precise nature and timing of Jesus's final meal with his disciples before his death."  

The apparent inconsistency in the Bible is that, "while Matthew, Mark and Luke all say the Last Supper coincided with the start of the Jewish festival of Passover, John claims it took place before Passover.  That apparently has been the dilemma.  Get the full story here on Yahoo!New.  Oh! Jozef Wadecki of Poland has a super explosive tumbing routine. In the video above he shows off his explosiveness and near perfect supper difficult routine. According to YahooSports.com, "In his first tumbling run, Wadecki performs a front flip off of the springboard, followed by a whipback (a no-handed back handspring), back handspring, triple twist, whipback, back handspring, triple twist. He follows that up with a round-off right into a double layout, whipback, back handspring double layout, whipback, whipback, double back with a full twist. Phew. That sort of difficulty is unheard of."

"Not only does he get unbelievable height, Wadecki has nearly perfect form. His legs are straight, toes are pointed, and he doesn't deviate from the center line down the middle of the tumbling mat."   I trust that you enjoyed the routines.

I found the following on YahooNews.com, under the Upshot News Blog, written by Mike Krumboltz, which made me wonder how real are UFO's.  "UFOs in FBI's Vault"  a headline the feed eventually said that, "CBS News points out that the memo is not exactly news. "The so-called 'Hottel memo'--which the agency never corroborated--has been publicly available for years." The Vault's re-posting of the famous document has put its claims back on the public's radar."  I am sniffing for a UFO conspiracy here.

That last sentence, ("The Vault's re-posting of the famous document has put its claims back on the public's radar.") caught my interest. Ah-what-if UFO's are real?  So I followed the link to the FBI's website.  I had lots of conspiracy theories going on in my head.  One was, "what if they are now baiting us to see our reaction or acceptance or denial of such ridiculous or controversial thoughts of us being visited by real UFO's aliens?"

  That "Luna" a cow in Germany can jump like a horse. Well it appears that way.  And it appears that "Luna" does think that she is a horse.  I've seen people riding water buffaloes so I am not too surprise to see Regina Mayer riding her cow.But the cow jumping like a horse, that's new to me.

The US Government shut Down?

Ah-What-If story, The US Government Shut Down from the Christian Science Monitor.

Ah-What-If the US Government shut down?  That question and treat is looming on the faces of our government officials; as Democrats and Republicans are facing a government shutdown deadline of April 8. 

This may be the 2nd time that I've experienced this in my life time. Back in 1995, Republicans were penalized in public opinion during a 1995 government shutdown, this time no one knows who to really blame.

However, one thing is imminent, the threat of a government shutdown is high and carries high political stakes.  Who is to blame is the big question. But it's not just a question of which party to blamed for this gridlock, but inquiring minds wants to know which party can frame the budget debate in a way that carries public support.

Mark Trumbull, Staff writer for the Christian Science Monitor, ask the question,  "Are deep spending cuts the path to a stronger economy and a sounder government?"

He noted that, "If the public sides with that view, then Republicans may come out as winners, whether or not a temporary shutdown occurs." Are tea-party Republicans seeking to gut popular programs like Medicare in order to achieve their goal of smaller government? If the public comes down on this side, then Democrats may stand to win. A Flying Submarine Explored Our Oceans Deepest Depth?

Sir Richard Bronson to Explore The Deepest Depth Of Our Ocean in his Flying Submarine.

The Christian Science Monitor reported that on Tuesday 4-5-2011 British tycoon Richard Branson unveiled the one-man Virgin Oceanic Sub, a flying submarine, which is capable of diving seven miles underwater to the deepest points in the ocean. Take a look at the video below and leave me your thoughts.

Mr. Branson has first position on entrepreneurs in unveiling Virgin Oceanic, the newest branch of his multifaceted Virgin Group best known for its music and his airline companies. He aims to set some 30 Guinness World Records as his flying submarine makes five dives in five oceans over two years. As of now his craft is the world's only submarine capable of taking a human to such extreme depths.
